Finally, a 25th day descent down to Lukla before continuing onto Kathmandu. Arrival in Kathmandu and Preparation

Jade, Holly, and Nikohara arrived in Kathmandu on August 28, 2023, full of excitement for their upcoming adventure. They spent the next three days exploring the vibrant city, visiting cultural landmarks, and preparing for their trek. After a scenic drive to Jiri, their journey into the Himalayas began.

Day 1: Kathmandu to Jiri by Private Bus

The trio embarked on their adventure with a private bus ride from Kathmandu to Jiri, marking the official start of their trek. The drive offered stunning views of Nepal's countryside and set the tone for the days ahead.

Day 2: Jiri to Deurali (2550 m)

Their first day of trekking took them from Jiri to Deurali, a picturesque village at 2550 meters. The trail was challenging but rewarding, with lush forests and terraced fields along the way.
