I embarked on a remarkable trekking experience in the Gurja Gaon region of Nepal. Starting from Kathmandu, I journeyed to the quaint town of Beni to begin my trek. From there, I followed the Myagdi Khola upstream, with each step exposing me to picturesque terrace fields and diverse villages inhabited by various cultural groups.
Crossing the Deurali Pass
After crossing the forested Deurali Pass, I finally arrived at the remote Magar village of Gurja Gaon. Located at a breathtakingly high elevation, I was surrounded by panoramic views of the Dhaulagiri mountains. The serene beauty of the village and the warmth of the locals made it an unforgettable experience.
Hiking to Gurja and Chure Himal
I hiked further up to reach a viewpoint near Gurja and Chure Himal, where I soaked in the beauty of the mighty Himalayas and surrounding peaks. The awe-inspiring vistas of snow-capped mountains and the tranquil environment left me in complete admiration of nature's grandeur.
Returning via Jaljala and Myagdi Valley
