Jeena Cloud: Langtang Valley Trekking Story!
I had an incredible experience trekking the Langtang Valley. We began our journey driving northwest from Kathmandu to a mountain village called Dhunche, a major part of the Langtang area. The trek led us through farmland, villages, and forests of beautiful Rhododendron, conifer, bamboo, oaks, and pines.
As we made our way onwards, we were surrounded by the stunning high peaks of Langtang Ri, Langtang Lirung, Dorjee Lakpa, and more, as well as yaks grazing around. During our journey, we stopped and admired the Himalayan view of Langtang, Langtang Lirung, and Gosainkunda - all of which provided us with an exceptional level of awe.
We achieved a height of 3800m, and the trek itself was graded as Easy Plus. With a mode of teahouse trekking, we were able to rest at Lama Hotel, Kyanjin Gompa, and Syabrubesi as part of our day-to-day itinerary before finally driving back to Kathmandu.
This trek was not just a journey through nature but also a journey of self-discovery. The serene landscapes, warm hospitality of the locals, and the sense of accomplishment at the end made it an unforgettable experience.
