Here's What Jean Pierre Van -DRUK PATH 6 Days Trekking Experience
I recently experienced the Druk Path Trek in Nepal, organized by Sherpa Trekking Company. The trek began in Kathmandu before heading towards the breathtaking region of Bhutan, with its lush mountains, sacred monasteries, and teeming wildlife.
The trek was relatively easy but with amazing sights that threatened to take my breath away. Every day I experienced a new wonder, from the majestic Tiger’s Nest Monastery to the ancient Paro Taktsang and Chomolhari. Other highlights included the dreamy Punakha Dzong and the Bumdeling Wildlife Sanctuary, not to mention the timeless Sarpang Dzong.
The trek route was quite long, totaling around 100 miles with 8-10 miles trekking each day. Along the way, I passed by villages tucked away in valleys, and marveled at the snow-capped peaks and roaring glacial rivers. Druk Path also gave me an opportunity to take in the traditional culture of Bhutan, and every new view and stop was greatly appreciated.
Overall, the Druk Path Trek stands out as an easy yet rewarding experience that no fan of nature and culture should miss. With its various sights and cultural nuances, it truly is the ultimate trekking destination in Nepal.
