Here's What Christopher West Round Dhaulagiri Trekking Experience!
I had the opportunity to take the Hardy Chrish Cooper Round Dhaulagiri Trekking Experience with Sherpa Trekking Company. The trek starts in the remote Myagdi Khola and ascends the Valley through forests and Magar villages. The most challenging part of the trek is the way from Pakobani (Italian Camp) to Dhaulagiri Base Camp, as you have to walk on the glacial terrain and avoid potential danger from avalanches. Once you reach Dhaulagiri Base Camp you will get to take in the stunning views of the mountains, including Dhaulagiri I, II, III, and IV, Churen Himal, Putha Hiunchuli, Gurja Himal, and many more. Along the journey, you will also cross over two high passes- French Pass (5360 m) and Thapa Pass (5250 m). Between these two passes lies the picturesque Hidden Valley. The culture of the locals like Magar and Thakali were also something memorable to observe. If you are looking for a moderate plus grade trek that takes you through some of the highest places around, then this Hardy Chrish Cooper Round Dhaulagiri Trekking Experience is a must.
