Dolly Buds - My Tour Experience with Sherpa Trekking Company - A Trek to Nepal Gipsy Land
I embarked on my dream travel and trekking experience to Nepal Gipsy Land, organized by the Sherpa Trekking Company. I arrived at Kathmandu, Nepal and after a transfer to hotel, the next day I went sightseeing. I visited the Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhnath Stupa and Patan Durbar Square. Later in the day I visited the Kathmandu Durbar Square.
On Day 3, I flew from Kathmandu to Lukla and from there, I started my 3 days Everest Base Camp Trek. The trail passed through Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche and Gorakshep to the Everest Base Camp. I breathed in the cold mountain air, feeling deeply in awe of the immense beauty around me. From the EBC, I hiked to Kalapatthar and back to Lukla, after which I flew back to Kathmandu.
On Day 6, I drove to Pokhara via private car, and the next day I began my trek from Nayapul to Annapurna Circuit. This trek passed through Besisahar, Khudi, Manag, Tashigaun, Yak Kharka, Thorong Phedi, Muktinath, Mustang, Kagbeni and deep into the Jomsom Valley. Then I trekked from Jomsom to Tatopani, crossing the Kali Gandaki river via a Suspension bridge. From Tatopani I trekked to Ghorepani, passing through Magar and Gurung villages.
On Day 10, I made a trek from Ghorepani to the Annapurna Base Camp via Poon Hill and Tadapani. After a mesmerizing view at the ABC, I trekked back to Jomsom and drove back to Pokhara via private car.
On Day 13, I drove to Chitwan National Park from Pokhara and enjoyed a stunning jungle safari. I also visited some ethnic Tharu villages and soaked up the deep culture of the region.
On Day 15, I drove from Chitwan to Kathmandu and the next day I drove from Kathmandu to Sunkute Beach. I enjoyed a delightful river rafting experience at Sunkute Beach and drove back to Kathmandu the next day.
The experience of trekking through Nepal and soaking up its beauty and culture was simply amazing. On Day 19, I bid farewell to this wonderful country as I prepared to depart from Kathmandu.
