Starting in the cultural city of Bhutan, Adam and his trekking group said goodbye to the easily-obtainable luxuries and set off on the arduous journey to the majestic base camp of Jomolhari. The trek was marked with heaps of awe-inspiring sights and experiences, such as Lungsum's prayer flags fluttering in the wind, the alluring blue lake of Tshamphau and a night spent in the lively capital city of Thimphu. The highlight of the trek, however, was arriving at the base camp of Gangkar Puensum - the highest mountain in Bhutan and the second highest unclimbable peak in the world.
