My soul enlightening tour with Sherpa Trekking Company in Nepal began with my arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. My tour guide there welcomed me and checked me in to my hotel.
The next day, I explored the attractions of Kathmandu such as Pashupatinath Temple, the monkeys of Swayambhunath, and the lovely Bhaktapur city.
On the third day, I got the chance to witness the Royal Bengal Tiger as I traveled through the dense lowlands of Chitwan National Park in an open jeep. I also saw some rare antelopes and a variety of birds.
On the fourth day, I arrived at the birthplace of Lord Buddha – Lumbini to explore the surrounding monasteries and Maya Devi Temple. I spent the night at Lumbini.
The next morning I drove to Devghat, the holy city situated at the confluence of the Kali Gandaki and Trisuli Rivers. Here I visited the temples and shrines.
Later I reached the wonderful city of Pokhara to embark on the journey to Annapurna Mountain Range view points. After exploring Pokhara with its spectacular view of the peaks, I drove back to Kathmandu.
On the eighth day, I visited the Guru Padmasambhava Enlightment Cave & Monastery. Finally, on the ninth day, I departed from Nepal with a soul full of amazement and appreciation for all the unique and beautiful experiences.
