My Bhutan Quarter Tour experience with Sherpa Trekking Company was nothing short of amazing! We began our adventure in Thimphu with a visit to the magnificent Tashichho Dzong Fortress. The awe-inspiring Buddha Dordenma Statue also took my breath away! We then moved on to Paro, and our main destination: The iconic Paro Taktsang Monastery, or Tiger’s Nest. After a hike to the monastery, we ventured to the Rinpung Dzong Fortress and the Simtokha Dzong Fortress. On our way through the beautiful valleys of Bhutan, we stopped at the Black-Necked Crane Conservation Centre in the Phobjikha Valley, the Punakha Valley, and the Tsirang Valley. We even had the opportunity to explore the rustic mountain village of Bumthang, the evergreen rural town of Mongar, the historical fort of Trongsa, the picturesque landscape of Lhuntse, and the eastern town of Trashigang. Throughout the quartet tour, I had the chance to truly "Experience Bhutan": its majestic mountains, its stunning valleys, and its exceptional people.
