All About Jomsom-Muktinath Trek:
Jomsom Muktinath Trekking is the perfect combination of adventure and natural beauty which will never bore you. It is a skyline trek well reputed in Nepal as it will take you to beautiful Mustang and Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists, with the highest point of the trek being 3802m at Muktinath. You will be able to witness the majestic Himalayan range, including Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Annapurna, Manaslu, and Nilgiri. Also, you will get to encounter Gurung, Magar, and Thakali cultures on your way. You can either choose to do it in the form of teahouse trekking or camping. All in all, most of the attraction of this trek lies in its mountain views, lovely villages, monastery and lakes.

I was excited when my best friend Rick suggested for International Trekking Company’s exclusive trek through the Bagmati River Valley from Kathmandu to Pokhara. I quickly packed up and made my way to Kathmandu.
On arrival, I was greeted by the friendly staff of Sherpa Trekking Company, who provided me with all the necessary arrangements for this exciting trek. After briefing us all about the Roger Stanly Jomsom-Muktinath Trek, we set off to Pokhara.
The scenery in Pokhara was breathtaking with the snow-capped peaks of the Annapurna Range gracing the horizon and a lush green valley stretching below.
On day 3, we set off to Ghorepani, to visit the famous Poon Hill Station and witness the mesmerizing sunrise and sunset view. The trek proceeded further to Tatopani, where we experienced the natural hot springs. The sight of the cascading waterfalls and beautiful mountains filled us all with joy.
The next few days were filled with excitement as we encountered terraced farmland up in the hills, majestic rivers and prosperous villages. After several days of trekking, we finally reached Muktinath, where we spent a peaceful night.
Our next destination was Jomsom, where we experienced many intriguing attractions like the Mustang Rajas palace, the world’s deepest gorge and some ancient Buddhist monasteries.
On Day 10, we flew back to Pokhara. On the final day, we drove back to Kathmandu and it felt great to get back to civilization.
I am glad that I had the opportunity to take part in this amazing trek organized by Sherpa Trekking Company. It made me realize that Nepal is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world. Thanks for reading.
