Day 1. Kathmandu- Lukla (2840m)by flight -trek to Phakding(2640m)
Day 2. Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3440m) Day 3. Namche Bazaar - rest day for acclimatization
Day 4. Namche Bazaar - Tyangboche, (3860m)
Day 5. Tyangboche - Horsea, (4150m)
Day 6. Horsea - Chhukung (4732m) and back to Dingboche
Day 7. Dingboche - Tuglha (4650m)
Day 8. Tuglha - Gorakshep (5170m) - Kalapatthar (5545m)-Gorakshep
Day 9. Gorakshep - Everest base camp (5210m) - Gorakshep
Day 10. Gorakshep - Horsea (4150m)
Day 11. Horsea - Tyangboche (3860m)
Day 12. Tyangboche - Namchee Bazaar (3440m)
Day 13. Namche Bazaar - Lukla (2840m)

Susan Foster -Lukla Everest Base Camp Trekking Experience Story:
On the 1st day of her 14 day trek, Susan Foster woke up with both excitement and apprehension. On her journey to Kathmandu, she had heard of the great adventure that awaited in the mountains. But as she stepped onto the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, she was still skeptical. The plane journey was a thrilling one, offering Susan a stunning aerial view of the Everest region. On arrival at Lukla, she met up with her guide and porter and began her trek proper with an uphill path towards Phakding. The path was steep and winding, making it challenging to traverse. Despite the physical difficulty she encountered, Susan found the views to be enchanting. The lush green valleys and majestic mountains in the background filled her with awe and wonder. After conquering Phakding, Susan's next destination was Namche Bazaar. The trail to Namchee was much tougher as it combined challenging terrain with elevation gain. She felt relieved when she finally reached the bustling market town and took a much needed rest.

On the 4th day, Susan resumed her journey with a stop at the Tyangboche monastery. The stunning landscape combined with the serenity of the monastery provided Susan with a much needed spiritual experience. Her trek eventually ended at Horsea on the 6th day before descending to Dingboche. The next few days of Susan's trek were spent climbing and descending, sometimes to striking elevations such as Tuglha and Gorakshep. The views she encountered were breathtaking and filled her with delight. The highlight of her journey was when she reached the Everest Base Camp on the 9th day and basked in the glory of the great mountain she had only seen from afar.

On the 10th day, Susan descended from Gorakshep to Horsea for an overnight stay. Following this, she made her way back to Tyangboche and Namchee Bazaar. On the 13th day, Susan returned to Lukla for an overnight stay before boarding the early morning flight back to Kathmandu. As she flew back home, Susan smiled to herself with a sense of accomplishment and reflected on her fantastic Everest Base Camp trekking experience. Through her journey, she had explored the trails of the Everest region, seen stunning views, and experienced unique cultural moments. She felt content knowing that she had accomplished a feat that only a lucky few had done. She was now prepared to share her incredible experience and venture out on her next adventure.
