Anna Marie Giri started her Everest Best Camp trekking experience with her full of excitement and enthusiasm. She started her journey from Kathmandu to Jiri. She was mesmerized as she looked out from the windows of the private bus in awe. The nature was on full display during the ride to Jiri with stunning hills, vast agricultural fields, and multiple Nepalese villages on her way.
The next day Anna Marie followed the itinerary and reached Shivalaya. Continuing her journey the following day she walked for hours and reached Bhandar taking her closer to her wish list protected area rich in both flora and fauna.Anna Marie also saw glimpses of numerous wildlife along the way like birds, dears, and antelopes.
Day 5 of the journey and Anna Marie was staying at Sete as per the itinerary. Overlooking at the Buddhist stupas and stonework, Anna Marie believed it to be one of the most spiritual places. Moving ahead, the next day Anna Marie reached Junbesi which marked half way of her trekking journey.
As per planned the next day Anna Marie moved to Manidingma where due to the altitude sickness Anna Marie decided to stop for a while. After some rest, Anna Mariemoved to Bubsa where she saw the picturesque view of the mountains like Everest, Makalu, and Amadablam. Continuing the trekking the following day, Anna Mariesoon reached Surke and then to Phagding.
Anna Marie reached the base town of Namche Bazar on day 10 and spent her day on rest as per itinerary. On day 11 of the journey, Anna Marie visited the exotic and sacred Thangboche Monastery on her way to Dingboche. Her journey further took her to Lobuche on the following day where Anna Marie trekked for Gorak Shep and KalaPatthar.She also visited the Everest Base Camp.
After spending another 2 days on the trail of Tughla, Anna Marie reached Thangboche and then to Namche the following day. Finally, Anna Marie had reached the destination, Lukla, near the last day of her trekking. She took a flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and looked back in pride at the successful trekking journey that she had accomplished.
