Denish Kasha Lam Bhutan Weekend Tour Experience!
I recently had the honor to experience Bhutan's captivating culture and breathtaking nature through a weekend tour organized by Sherpa Trekking Company. This incredible tour showed me a rare glimpse of the Land of the Thunder Dragon and its stunning attractions.
Our journey started in Paro City, where we had an exciting city tour which included sightseeing, beautiful temples, palaces, monasteries and attractions. We were warmly welcomed by the hospitality of the locals and were amazed to get to know the traditions of Bhutan.
The highlight of our tour was a hike to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery, overlooking the stunning valleys and mountains of Paro. Even from a distance, the view of the temple was breathtaking. After spending some time in Paro, we moved on to our next destination - the Jigme Dorji National Park. Here, we encountered a wide array of wildlife and witnessed picturesque views of the Gangtey Valley.
The next day, we visited the Punakha Dzong and the Thimphu king’s memorial chorten and the clock tower, along with the magnificent Buddha Dordenma statue. We then enjoyed sightseeing around the beautiful Tashichho Dzong and Trashi Chho Dzong. We also explored some of the best places of Wangdue Phodrang and admired the mesmerizing views of Bhutan's mountains.
On our final day, we took a Bhutan to Nepal flight back, memories filled, grateful for the experience. Through this memorable Bhutan Tour, I had the privilege of gaining significant insight into the culture and nature of Bhutan, which will stay with me forever.
