Day To Day Itinerary
Starting From: Kathmanu -Lhasa Flight-Ends By Road Nayalam-Kathmandu


Day 1. Fly breath taking trans Himalayan flight over the Mt.Everest from Kathmandu to Lhasa and upon arrival transfers to the hotel and complete rest for acclimatization. O/n in hotel.
Day 2-3. You will be engrossed with sight seeing tour to magnificent Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkor market, Deeprung Monastery, Sera Monastery and nunnery. Overnight in hotel

Day 4. Full day picturesque drive crossing over Kampala Pass (4794M) and the Brahma Putra river (Yarlung Tsangpo) and along the turquoise lake Yamadrok, Over night in hotel.
Day 5. Morning sightseeing to the Kumbum Stupa & Palkor Monaster. Drive through the Tibet’s biggest Agricultural field to Sigatse and sightseeing to the Panchen Lama’s Tashilumpu Monastery in Sigatse.Over night in Hotel.
Day 6. Scenic drive through the highest point, Gyatchu La pass (5,220m) en route. Overnight in hotel /Guest House.
Day 7. Drive towards south from Tingri towards the Top of the world Mt. EVEREST about 100km to Ronbuk. Over night in Guest house.
Day 8. Two three hours excursion to the Everest base camp & Ronbuk Monastery. Over night in Guest house

Day 9. Day drive to the highest plateau of the world with typical landscape offering the sheer feeling of being on the roof of the world crossing over the 5,050 meters LALUNGA pass, from where you can view the breathtaking mountain range from Mt.Cho Oyu (8,201m) Mt.Xishapagma ( 8,012m) dwarfed by the vastness of Tibetan plateau (if weather permits). One can also take a magnificent view of Mt. Everest (8,848m) from Tingri. Overnight in Guest house.
Day 10. Drive to Kathmandu

Narelle Waters' trek to Everest Base Camp Tibet Side was an incredible experience that she will never forget. She began in Kathmandu where she was able to take in the sights and sounds of this incredible city before embarking on a breathtaking trans Himalayan flight over Mt. Everest. Once in Lhasa, she was able to explore all the magnificence of this ancient city with visits to the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkor Market, Deeprung Monastery, Sera Monastery and nunnery. Day 4 was an awe-inspiring drive across Kampala Pass (4794m) and along the turquoise lake Yamadrok. The next day's exploration to the Kumbum Stupa & Palkor Monastery and a visit to Panchen Lama's Tashilumpu Monastery in Sigatse were equally enlightening. On Day 6, the terrain got significantly more treacherous with an ascent up to Gyatchu La Pass (5,220m), but the view was well worth the effort. Day 7 was the beginning of the climb to Everest Base Camp (100 km from Tingri) and also a stop at Ronbuk Monastery. Once finally at Everest Base Camp, Narelle experienced first-hand the sheer impressiveness of Mount Everest and the surrounding mountains. On the way back, Narelle drove through the highest plateau in the world, with Lalunga Pass providing a magnificent view of Mount Cho Oyu, Mount Xishapagma, and Mount Everest peeking out from behind them. Narelle was overwhelmed by the entire experience of her trek to Everest Base Camp Tibet Side - from the breathtaking vistas to the unique cultural and religious sites to the unsurpassable feeling of standing in what feels like the top of the world at Mt.
